I just finished up my fifth printable intervention pack. This one has the long vowel teams ea, ee, oa, ow, ay, ai, igh, and ie. It is set up similar to the digraph pack in that the first section has several pages where the vowel teams are separate then a second section with pages where they are mixed on one page.
There is decoding, spelling, phonemic awareness, automaticity drills, and decodable sentences.
Decoding Vowel Teams
Spelling Activities
Automaticity Drills
This is an automaticity drill with blending an onset with different rimes (word endings).
This focuses on common word endings with vowel teams.
Games
There are a couple games to play as well!
Sentences with Vowel Teams
This is a fun way to practice decoding sentences with vowel teams. Students will match the phrases to make a sentence. Some might be pretty silly!
There are also pages with decodable sentences with vowel teams to work on fluency.
As you can see, I included tons of options so you could pick and choose which would work best for your students. You could put all the pages together in one folder or two separate folders (one with mixed vowel teams and one with them separated.) I have worked with students who really struggle with vowel teams so I made several pages for each one to give them plenty of opportunities to practice.
You can find this set of activities here. They now have Google Slides!
